Award Winning Artist

Levan Mosiashvili is a Georgian painter born in 1971 in Tbilisi. Initially pursuing studies in biology and theatre, he transitioned fully into visual art in the early 1990s. Without formal academic training in painting, Mosiashvili developed his distinct approach, drawing inspiration from Georgian cultural heritage and European modernism.

He has held over 200 solo exhibitions internationally, with shows in countries including France, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Japan, Spain, and Turkey. His artworks have been presented at major art fairs, cultural festivals, and curated gallery events, gaining recognition for their bold color schemes and narrative richness.

Mosiashvili’s paintings are part of both private and public collections in more than 30 countries, including the USA, Germany, Italy, France, and Japan. He has been the recipient of various international awards for artistic excellence and has contributed to cross-cultural art initiatives, representing contemporary Georgian art on a global stage.
Today, Levan Mosiashvili continues to live and work in Tbilisi, where he remains an active figure in the Georgian art scene while maintaining a strong presence abroad.

Global presence broadens

Presents “Mon Amour” exhibition at the National Library in Tbilisi with 60 new paintings combining personal, national, and romantic themes. Works are scheduled to travel to France, Switzerland, the USA, and South Africa. The exhibition was later shown at the Georgian Embassy in Washington and the WIPO headquarters in Geneva.

Cultural engagement and leadership

His works are featured in renowned collections worldwide — including the Pentagon, the Tretyakov Gallery, and Georgia’s Wine Museum — while he actively supports Georgian arts through charitable initiatives, peace-themed exhibitions, and his role in the Franco-Georgian cultural association.
